Our Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy! Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Any information you give to the SWETC.ORG will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know.


Resale or disclosure of information to third parties:

The SWETC.ORG does NOT sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including membership forms or email lists.

Browser information collected on the website:

The SWETC.ORG analyzes our website logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on website. Our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site. 

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible). 

Use of cookies:

We use cookies only to track web site statistics, operate JavaScript functions, technical administration of the Web site, or customer administration. Cookies are NOT harmful to your computer and consist of small pieces of computer language placed in your temporary internet files. 

Privacy of our email and phone lists:

The SWETC.ORG maintains several email lists to keep SWETC.ORG members informed about breaking events. Individuals must affirmatively ask to join our mailing lists by contacting SWETC.ORG.

We collect e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.

We do NOT sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone. In addition, we configure our list server software to refuse to divulge the email addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized SWETC.ORG staff, including other list subscribers.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding the reason for giving a phone number.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

Children's Privacy: We take specific steps to protect the privacy of children by,

Companies doing business online that operate sites that are directed at children under 13 or at which the age of visitors is known, must at those sites: 

  • Not collect online contact information from a child under 13 without prior parental consent or direct parental notification of the nature and intended use of this information, which shall include an opportunity for the parent to prevent use of the information and participation in the activity.   • Not entice a child under 13 by the prospect of a special game, prize or other activity, to divulge more information than is needed to participate in that activity.

A Special Note About Children.
Children are not eligible to use our services and we ask that minors (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us. If you are a minor, you can use this service only in conjunction with your parents or guardians. We do provide information about our personal data practices in relation to children on our home page and wherever we knowingly collect personal data from children on our Web site.
